🌟Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform dental examinations and assessments on pediatric patients, including infants, children, and adolescents.
  • Diagnose and treat dental conditions, diseases, and developmental issues specific to pediatric dentistry.
  • Perform restorative procedures, including fillings, crowns, and pulpotomies, on primary and permanent teeth.
  • Monitor dental development and address orthodontic concerns in pediatric patients.
  • Educate patients and parents on proper oral hygiene practices, dietary habits, and preventive dental care.
  • Create a positive and supportive dental experience for pediatric patients, alleviating dental anxiety and fear.
  • Collaborate with pediatricians, orthodontists, and other healthcare professionals to address comprehensive healthcare needs.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control and sterilization protocols specific to pediatric dentistry.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including growth and development assessments.

🌟Certifications and Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.Valid California state dental license to practice dentistry.
  • Board certification or eligibility for board certification in general dentistry.
  • CPR certification.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of dental procedures and treatments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety and satisfaction.
