Our therapists meet you where you are – in our offices, in pediatricians’ offices, in the home, at childcare centers, and on-site in elementary, middle and high schools.

Our office-based Outpatient Therapists provide behavioral health counseling services to children and families in our historic Barberton Office overlooking Lake Anna. Behavioral mental health therapy offers the therapist a wide variety of experiences not found in other settings. We offer specialty therapies such as EMDR, play therapy and sand tray therapy in addition to other treatment modalities. Our clients often face multiple challenges, including co-occurring mental health and addiction disorders, and treat the entire family.

Responsibilities:

• Provide an atmosphere of trust, welcome, acceptance and hope for all clients
• Show respect for cultural differences, beliefs and values, and integrate information related to cultural traditions and values into treatment
• Conduct individual and small group counseling
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to establish appropriate treatment goals and objectives for clients
• Plan, implement and evaluate treatment plans
• Provide guidance to facilitate clients' normal growth and development, and aid in their understanding and solving of current and potential problems

• LPC, LPCC, LISW or LSW with Master's Degree required
• Experience providing therapy to children and family, including strong diagnostic skills and knowledge of effective behavioral intervention strategies
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft software; ability to learn and use Epic EHR and other systems
