    The Position:

    We are seeking a full-time Psychiatric Clinical Supervisor for our Balboa site in Northridge. The Psychiatric Clinical Supervisor reports directly to the Medical Director and in consultation with the Senior Director of QI and Clinical Administration. This position will provide clinical treatment services to clients whose primary service of care is Psychiatry. This includes but is not limited to Initial Assessments, ongoing therapy, group therapy and case management for these cases. This position will provide supervision to the Psychiatric Case Managers in both the SFV and AV.

    This position is part of a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrist, therapists and other professionals working collaboratively to ensure comprehensive whole person care. This position ensures compliance with Agency policies, HIPAA, funding sources and other ethical and legal mandates. This position adheres to Agency standards of conduct and professionalism and promotes the Agency’s Workplace Vision and Workplace Culture.

    What You’ll Do

    • Conduct Initial Assessment for all cases when a case is referred to Psychiatry upon screening (such as hospital discharges)
    • Actively involves caregivers in treatment through collateral and family sessions, parent education programs, and family support groups.
    • Completes the CANS and any other OMAs required for all meds only cases in the San Fernando Valley and provides coverage for Antelope Valley as needed.
    • Provides ongoing clinical supervision for Psychiatric Case Managers including oversite of productivity and follow through with DMH compliance. Provide supervision for Psychiatric Administrative Supervisors in both the SFV and AV as well as the language Services Specialist.
    • Participates in the interviewing process for all new Psychiatric Case Managers.
    • Evaluates and assesses client and family case management and brief intervention needs for clients in medication case management services.
    • Provide range of treatment services including but not limited to intakes, assessments, ongoing treatment planning and discharge planning.
    • Complete all documentation according to Agency, HIPAA, and funder standards within required timelines.
    • Hours: Full-time (40 hours), up to two evenings per week may be required. Hybrid work options are available.
    • Starting Salary: $81,000 - $90,000

    Qualifications

    • Supervisory experience preferred
    • Bilingual in Spanish and English required
    • Must be able to work with interdisciplinary team, form and maintain professional relationships, and represent the Center in a professional and positive manner at internal and outside meetings.
    • Must have strong interpersonal skills, and be able to get along with others in a courteous and respectful manner. Must be able to work as a team play, in a teamwork environment.
    • Must be able to accept and utilize supervision to provide and receive feedback to improve performance and monitor own work to ensure quality.
    • Must be able to demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Psychological testing skills preferred
    • Ph.D., Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology required.
    • Must be licensed or eligible for licensure with the Board of Psychology or Board of Behavioral Sciences.
