Purpose

Solving the unmet needs of patients is at the heart of everything we do at GRD. This role is designed to help people solve the challenges of day-today living with rare disease that current therapeutic options cannot.

This role sits within the Inborn Errors of Metabolism (IEM) Portfolio

The SPM IEM Marketing will report to the Director, IEM US Marketing Lead and work with members of the IEM cross-functional team. In this role, the SPM will be responsible both for driving impactful execution of the disease and brand messaging for Alpha Mannosidosis and LAMZEDE (velmanase-alfa), and for leading other key elements of commercial success.

We are looking for motivated, out of the box thinkers with a passion for building brands who maintain a patient first mindset every day.

This position resides in Boston, MA. Remote opportunities are available for highly competitive candidates.

Main Responsibilities

* Manage development and execution of Patient and HCP branded campaign and messaging for personal and non-personal promotion including MLR review
* Lead development of sales force materials
* Collaborate with insights and business knowledge teams to generate lead and activation plans to identify patients and caregivers living with the disease
* Manage the launch execution of field teams and implementation plan
* Collaborate with sales training team to develop training materials
* Participate in market research and interacting with customer-facing teams to mine customer insights
* Support peer-to-peer programs for patients and HCPs, collaborate with medical teams to support events and congresses
* Co-lead the development of strategic integrated marketing brand plans
* Management of budgets in line with commercial plan
* Track KPIs measuring impact of Field Execution and HCP Branded Campaign
* Act as main point of contact for the Agency of Record and Analytics/Reporting function
* Support forecasting and performance monitoring

* A strong focus on the patient and understanding of their needs
* The ideal candidate will have in-line brand strategy, tactical execution experience demonstrating a track record of success, as well as experience across hospitals and clinics
* Strong US marketing experience, rare disease focus preferred
* Strong project management skills: demonstrated experience managing multiple cross functional projects and external vendors required
* Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally in a matrix environment
* Excellent oral and written communication with a strong attention to detail
* Team player who is flexible, can work independently, and in collaboration with several teams
* Experience working with medical/ legal/ regulatory review processes
* Ability to build relationships and collaborate with others to achieve mutual objectives
* Strategic and challenging thinking, creativity, enthusiasm, analytical acumen, and exceptional overall business insight are fundamental

Experience Required

* 5 years of relevant industry experience with at least 3 years of marketing experience in direct product marketing experience with demonstrated ability to succeed in marketing, and at least 1 year of relevant leadership experience in sales or marketing
* Rare disease experience preferred
* Good understanding of medical and sales teams with experience working cross-functionally
* Market Research and/or Sales experience is preferred

Education

* B.A. or a B.S. degree is required
