Chick-fil-A is Hiring a Sr. Specialist, New Restaurant Project Management Program (Planning & Operations) Near Atlanta, GA

Overview

The Programmatic Sr. Specialist fosters consistency and efficiencies in New Restaurant Project Management (Sr. Specialist and Project Lead) program through clear communication and up-to-date resources, supports the team through financial stewardship (managing chain-wide related billing and approvals) and relationship building efforts (including leading certain vendor management), and adapts with agility to meet changing business needs to ensure our systems, documents, and work flow is relevant and visible to the appropriate audience and supporting our overall objectives.

Responsibilities

Lead process standardization and stewardship

  • Partners with New Restaurant Project Management (i.e. Sr. Specialists, Project Leads and Sr. Team Leaders) staff to develop, communicate, implement, and maintain process standards for consistency across regions.
  • Manage documentation of Fact Sheets/Reference guides based on enhancements (excluding topics that have a designated Strategic Lead)
  • Collaborates across the organization for alignment and communication on standards and processes (including but not limited to Financial Services and DTT)
  • Invoice processing and related approvals, particularly for bulk invoices (i.e. site sketches and bonds) and cascades wins of financial stewardship to the team and leadership
  • Adaptable and reliable to cover regional deal team work as needed

Provide strategic direction and guidance to the Project Coordinator program through the following:

  • Approve scope of services performed by the Project Coordinator(s) to ensure consistency throughout the regions and assess performance with Chick-fil-A leadership and vendor leadership
  • Onboard and oversee Project Coordinator(s), as needed and in partnership with applicable vendor leadership

Lead business-driven updates through system/platforms in a timely and consistent manner:

  • Assist with further enhancements, fixes, education/training and communication for New Deal Package Process/Automation, Site Submission Automation, and future Restaurant Development technology roll-outs
  • Streamline reporting tools leveraged by our New Restaurant Sr. Specialists and Project Leads
  • Management of Chain-wide reporting, including but not limited to Site Acquisition Report, New Restaurant Real Estate and Franchisee Selection Report, etc.
  • Maintain contact information of external partners and access via partnership with GIS, DTT, Tririga, and SharePoint team(s)
  • In partnership with DTT and RD Technology team(s), manage certain system entry for our project portfolio and collaborate on long-term solutions to establish connectivity between systems

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree or 2 years of equivalent work experience
  • Gracefully manages high workload and varying priorities
  • Demonstrates accountability and ability to work proactively and independently
  • Builds meaningful relationships and collaborates well with cross-functional teams
  • Resourceful at identifying and resolving issues, as well as, create processes to streamline the program
  • Skilled at providing clear and concise written and oral communication
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, integrated workspace management systems, Smartsheet, and various project management software
  • Quick and adaptable learner
  • Leads with a positive attitude and a heart to serve

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Restaurant Development (i.e. Real Estate, Engineering, Construction, Business or Communication)
  • Project management or equivalent experience, along with minimum qualities listed above
