Restaurant Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a driven, growth-minded leader to join our team. Key leaders needed to guide the team in the day-to-day success of a high-volume restaurant in pursuit of our standards of operational excellence.

Responsibilities will include; helping, creating, maintaining, and actively leading a caring culture so our team provides guests with a remarkable dining experience so that we win hearts and impact lives. You lead and manage all aspects of the Chick-fil-A restaurant, including customer service, food quality, operations, team member training, and financial performance. The Manager ensures that the restaurant is operating in accordance with Chick-fil-A standards and policies while:

  • Self-motivated at pursuing ongoing leadership development
  • Able to successfully run shifts.
  • Ability to work with a management team focused on business growth.
  • Advocate for team member training, development, and accountability.
  • Able to step in and play a positive role in guest recovery.

  • Supervise and coordinate all restaurant shifts
  • Oversee guest services and empower team members to resolve issues through surprise and delight
  • Ensure we are providing guests with high-quality ingredients and food preparation
  • Create and adjust team schedules to meet restaurant needs
  • Adhere to all restaurant safety and security regulations
  • Ensure a smooth shift transition
  • Prepare the registers and assign the team members their positions
  • Run breaks and work a position alongside the team members
  • Ensure a smooth afternoon and dinner rush
  • Close the doors on time and break down front-of-house equipment
  • Oversees all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation and service, cleanliness, customer service, and employee performance
  • Ensures compliance with Chick-fil-A policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations
  • Develops and implements strategies with the Executive Team to achieve restaurant goals and objectives, including sales targets and profitability
  • Manages, trains, and develops restaurant staff, including scheduling, performance management, and coaching
  • Maintains a positive and welcoming atmosphere for customers and team members, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction
  • Monitors inventory levels and orders supplies as needed
  • Ensures that all equipment and facilities are maintained in good condition and in compliance with safety regulations
  • Conducts regular meetings with staff to review performance, provide feedback, and discuss ways to improve operations
  • Manages financial performance by analyzing sales data, controlling costs, and developing budgets

Qualifications:

  • Must have flexible availability from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM every day of the week (closed Sunday)
  • Reliable transportation
  • Willing to work up to 45 hours every week
  • Previous experience leading teams
  • Possess strong interpersonal relationship skills
  • Able to have great chemistry with team members of all age groups
  • Previous experience in food service or other service-related fields
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Handles high-pressure situations well
  • Excellent written and communication skills
