Chick-fil-A Restaurants is Hiring an Executive General Manager Near Ventura, CA

The Executive Operations Director is responsible for leading all aspects of restaurant operations and HR Functions by designing and leading a culture where our purpose, mission, values and goals are lived out and accomplished overtime.

Responsible for

  • Showing through his/her leadership a commitment and passion to the business purpose, mission and values and the Winning Hearts Everyday Strategy
  • Build and leverage relationships both internally and externally to grow and develop the culture and results
  • Being known as a person of character who demonstrates integrity, humility, a heart for others and puts others first
  • Practices strategic thinking (including but not limited to)
  • Understanding the internal/external factors affecting the business
  • Create and execute 30 & 90 day plan to accomplish specific objectives
  • Grow business results based on organizational goals
  • Teach others how to create business plans
  • Be a “disrupter” by asking questions and push for innovation
  • Teach others how to think long-term such as what’s important, where is it now, where do you want this in the future, how will we get there, how will we measure it
  • Grow proactively instead of reacting to growth
  • Understand industry/market trends and position the organization in its most competitive fashion
  • Systems & process oriented based thinking relating to all restaurant systems (DT SOS systems, BOH Taste systems, etc) and business systems (team member communication, leadership development, etc)
  • Internally motivated to drive for business results including but not limited to, Job Satisfaction, Retention, Food Safety, Cleanliness, Attentive and Courteous, Speed of Service, Taste of Food, Order Accuracy, Labor Cost and Food Cost.
  • Demonstrates a growth mindset prioritizing personal development and has a future focus
  • Demonstrates an entrepreneurial Spirit with a desire for owning results, taking risks, consistency and innovation and a disciplined thought and creativity.
  • Demonstrates a high level of business/financial acumen including a robust understanding of the business, ownership of results within the FCR (costs, IPO, profitability) and how decisions have impact. Should displays knowledge of systems, metrics and can identify trends.
  • Demonstrates executive level leadership leading people and teams across a variety of roles and experiences focused on organizational goals.
  • Leads with a focus on Impact and Influence. Leads with a sense of empathy, self-awareness and strong listening skills. Hold direct reports accountable to their performance goals and to ensure they are holding their direct reports accountable
  • Demonstrates an ability to get results and be able to communicate personal results in the business (your thumbprints).
  • Ability to share how results were achieved, why focus on specific results and over what period of time did the result change or impact on the business
  • Clearly and simply provide feedback on how each Manager and Director is performing as it relates to organizational, team and individual performance goals
  • Provide clarity on what each employee’s job goals are and how they impact the team and organization
  • Gets results by creating synergy within the director and management team. Motivate, inspire and energize a diverse team
  • Clearly and simply communicate how your values impact organizational performance
  • Define clearly and simply what winning as an organization is and how that ties into your values with lagging and leading metrics
  • Detect a misalignment in performance and culture
  • Ensure employee and leadership development are in line with organizational objectives (Create individual development plans based on the employee, their current role and their future role. Connect individual performance to organizational performance. Measure the impact and ROI of development and training programs. Clearly communicate a depth chart or leadership bench to others).
  • Oversee Legal Compliance with the help of the support director. (Be able to teach relevant business and HR laws to leaders. Know when laws may not be being followed. Teach how to handle legal issues that may arise such as insurance, worker’s comp, etc.)
  • Ensure HR leadership is provided with excellence and in full employment law compliance such as payroll processing, hiring, onboarding, training, feedback, disciplinary action, terminations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $88,660.00 per year
