Chick-fil-A is seeking a Hiring Manager to assist with all interviewing, development and onboarding at our location. The Hiring Manager conducts interviews with candidates, and focuses on developing a high-caliber, customer-focused, and striving-for-excellence team. The Hiring Manager understands, supports, and integrates Chick-fil-A’s values and mission statement in each event, employee interaction, and community engagement, and at times, functions as an HR Assistant. The Hiring Manager should be involved with the team and operations of the restaurant to build a rapport and set the standard of being a team player. The Hiring Manager reports directly to the Senior Director of Training and Development and works closely with the leadership team of Chick-fil-A North Collins St.

Position Type: Full-Time, Monday-Saturday

Compensation: $21-$23/hr

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Facilitates orientation for new employees.
• Facilitates uniform orders and inventory management.
• Handles employee terminations and offboarding.
• Serves as the point of contact for all HR complaints and inquiries brought to the attention of the HR Assistant.
• Serves as a liaison between our restaurant and our talent recruiting firm, providing a consistent flow of communication.
• Helps to advertise our talent brand in our community.
• Builds long-term relationships within the community, including attending local hiring events, to attract high-caliber Team Members.
• Conducts Team Member and Leadership interviews with candidates and coordinates with the leadership team for final interviews.
• Identifies leadership potential within current Team Members and facilitates leadership development.
• Creates programs to enhance employee morale and motivation.
• All other Operations or HR tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred, or must have an 3 years equivalent HR work experience in lieu of a degree.
• Previous Chick-fil-A experience preferred.
• Strongly proficient with Microsoft Suite and Google Suite.
• Must have strong people skills and the ability to connect with people.
• Must be willing to participate in Operations as needed, with the physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Strong communicator, detail-oriented, organized, critical thinker, self-starter, strong work ethic, positive attitude.
