CHI St. Alexius Health is a regional health network with a tertiary hospital in Bismarck, the system also consists of critical access hospitals (CAHs) in Carrington, Dickinson, Devils Lake, Garrison, Turtle Lake, Washburn and Williston and numerous clinics and outpatient services. ResponsibilitiesSTATEMENT OF PURPOSE: Works under the supervision of the Safety & Emergency Management Coordinator. This individual is responsible for assisting individuals interacting with the Medical Center.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Education: High School graduate or equivalent and preferably w/ entry level college courses.
Experience: Experience with registration systems, word processing, spreadsheet applications or Internet knowledge is preferred.
Skills: Ability to operate phone system and assess information through computerized registration and scheduling system.
Interpersonal Skills: This position requires superior customer service skills and phone etiquette with the ability to relate effectively to a variety of customers in a professional and courteous manner. Demonstrates the ability to problem solve and work independently in a fast paced environment with constant interruptions. Must have the ability to communicate and interpret information in terms the patient or visitor can understand. Maintains strict confidentiality in regard to all information acquired in the course of performing the job.
