A Day in the Life of a Mental Health Case Manager:
Provides consistent and direct comprehensive care to psychiatric patients in a Case Management capacity. Direct care is provided via discharge planning, direct counseling with patients and their families, clinical interventions, resource referral, and consultation with other unit staff.

Here Is What You Will Be Doing:
• Develops and implements a treatment plan to assist in stabilization, mobilization, and disposition appropriate for patient care within 72 hours of patient admission.
• Assesses coping mechanisms and current functioning in the following areas: intrapsychic, identity, interpersonal, family, and group dynamics.
• Plans, develops, and implements group interventions ensuring a safe, comfortable therapeutic environment as a member of a multi-discipline team.
• Ensures the follow-through of treatment goals in cooperation with dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
• Ensures compliance with applicable regulatory guidelines and requirements.
• Maintains clinical skills through continuing education.

• Ability to assess situations/systems to formulate plans, select appropriate interventions, and evaluate policies/procedures
• Strong leadership skills and problem-solving skills
Here Is What You Will Need:
• Licensed by the WY Mental Health Professions Licensing Board
• 30 Days: Mandatory Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification/training within 30 days of start date
Nice to Have:
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Counselor (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
• Two (2) or more years’ experience in clinical care and case management
• One (1) or more inpatient or residential adult psychiatric or recovery experience
