A Day in the Life of a Biomedical Equipment Technician II:
The Biomedical Equipment Technician II (BMET-II) maintains hospital and patient care medical equipment using a Medical Equipment Management Plan. This intermediate level position performs a variety of installation, maintenance, calibration and repair tasks with little or no assistance. BMET-IIs serve as mentors to BMET-Is and less experienced technicians.
