Job Title: Technology Integration Specialist
Reports to: CCSD#2 Supt.
Job Overview: The Technology Integration Specialist supports the integration and effective use of technology in classrooms across Carbon County School District #2. This role focuses on assisting teachers and staff with the technical aspects of using educational technology tools and resources, ensuring a smooth and effective learning experience for students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of classroom technology tools and software.
- Provide first-level support to teachers and staff for technology-related issues in the classroom.
- Conduct basic training sessions for staff on new technology tools and software.
- Collaborate with the technology team to support the school's technology needs.
- Assist in the evaluation and setup of educational technology resources.
- Provide input on the practical aspects of technology integration in classroom settings.
- Participate in professional development and stay updated on emerging technologies relevant to classroom integration.
- Work closely with teachers to understand their technology needs and provide solutions that enhance the teaching and learning process.
- Familiarity with a range of educational technology tools and software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide basic training and support.
- Enthusiastic about technology and its potential in education.
- Experience in an educational environment.
- Experience with Google for Education Admin Console
- Experience with OneRoster
- Basic troubleshooting skills in technology.
