A Chevy Chase Club Summer Camp Coach is responsible for ensuring a fun and safe environment for campers throughout the summer. Coaches are responsible for making memories through group games, arts and crafts, STEM activities, and sports while actively partnering with our sports professionals to offer tennis, golf, swimming, and duckpin bowling. A Chevy Coach is not just a caretaker, they should be creative in keeping children in the Summer Camp active and engaged.

This is a Seasonal position from June 17 through August 2, 2024

Qualifications:

• Ability to work the FULL six weeks of summer camp,
• The position is Monday through Friday, 8 am—3:30 pm, but it does require some evening and Holiday shifts.
• Available for Coaches’ Orientation prior to the beginning of camp
• Pass a background check. Must be fingerprinted upon hiring.
• Must enjoy working with children and demonstrate experience in working with children.
• Ability to teach and lead various recreational activities.
• Maintain energy, enthusiasm, sense of humor, patience, and be able to adapt throughout the summer.
• A willingness to make a fool of yourself for the sake of making a child smile.
• The ability to communicate and work effectively with a variety of ages and skill levels.
