Analyzes, assesses, and improves asset integrity, reliability, and effectiveness of preventative and predictive maintenance based on data collected through Inspection, Testing and Maintenance program activity. Performs/participates in inspections, reliability incidents investigations, rotating equipment reliability analyses, optimizations, and mechanical integrity reviews; incorporates findings into the asset care strategy. Supports larger customers/clients and may lead functional projects under infrequent supervision. Developing a detailed knowledge of the work function. Job Description Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Construction Scheduler located in Richmond, California, through June 14,2024 at 11:59 p.m. (PST). Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to: Accountable for develop tanks schedules and provide progress of development. Works with contractors and Construction Company Representatives to develop accurate and predictable schedules. Understands sequencing of tasks associated with construction execution and demonstrates good planning and organizing skills. Must be able to perform field walks in all areas of the Refinery to complete sequence and priority of work. Understands and supports refinery safety and environmental policies. Demonstrates and understand. of the work process, deliverables, and expectations related to the Construction work processes. Ensure plans are detailed appropriately in Primavera and priorities is communicated to the contractor schedulers. Incorporate and analyze approved scope change and impact to the critical activities. Documents and shares lessons learned. Adopt digital tools as rolled out for use and provide feedback to product owners. The selected candidate must be able to prepare develop schedule in primavera, compare with historical data and challenge vendor/ contractor schedules when needed. Accountable for scheduling turnarounds using Primavera P6 software following CVX scheduling standards. Work with Project Control Leads and Planner on duration and critical path estimate. Review schedule progress and validate on a regular basis with turnaround team. Develop integrated schedules including pre-TA and project work. Participate in schedule assurance reviews with Planning & Scheduling advisor as needed. During turnaround execution, communicate critical path, SCS, and any other areas of concern. Document all lessons learned from all Phases of turnaround planning. Adopt digital tools as rolled out for use and provide feedback to product owners. Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent Possess a valid driver's license with a safety record. Experience working in an Industrial Maintenance environment is required, 5 years preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and other similar business software systems. Proficient in Salesforce. Proficient in P6 Primavera Special Considerations: Relocation will not be considered within Chevron's parameters. Expatriate assignments will not be considered. The selected candidate’s compensation will be determined based on their skills, experience, and qualifications.
