**Overview:**

We are seeking a dedicated Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional care and support to seniors in our assisted living facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in dementia care, recreational therapy, and social work, with a passion for enhancing the quality of life for our residents.

**Responsibilities:**

- Engage residents in recreational activities and programs to promote social interaction and mental stimulation

- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents

- Help coordinate and manage daily schedules for residents

- Support the care team in maintaining a safe and clean environment for residents

- Contribute to the memory care program by implementing specialized activities

**Qualifications:**

- Previous experience in caregiving, particularly in assisted living or memory care settings

- Knowledge of dementia care practices and techniques

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with residents, families, and colleagues

- Ability to manage schedules effectively and prioritize tasks accordingly

- Compassionate nature with a genuine interest in senior care

- Certification or training in areas related to senior care is a plus
