Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and their beloved pets. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive experience for both clients and their animals. Duties: - Greet clients and their pets with a warm and friendly demeanor - Schedule appointments and manage the veterinary clinic's calendar - Answer phone calls, emails, and other inquiries in a timely manner - Obtain and update client information, including medical history and insurance details - Assist with check-in and check-out procedures, including processing payments - Provide general information about veterinary services, procedures, and products - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area - Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure smooth operations of the clinic Skills: - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional approach - Knowledge of animal care, including basic pet grooming, dog training, equine care, animal husbandry, and pet care - Familiarity with laboratory procedures and veterinary critical care is a plus - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Proficient in using computer systems for scheduling appointments, managing client records, and processing payments We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
