POSITION SUMMARY:

The Mortgage Technology Specialist will play a pivotal role in optimizing and supporting our technology infrastructure, enhancing our loan origination processes, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. This position is ideal for someone with an solid understanding of mortgage technology and the mortgage industry.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

System Management:

- Oversee the management and administration of the LOS, Point of Sale, CRM, and related systems, including configuration, customization, and integrations with other systems

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define system requirements, implement enhancements and updates, and streamline workflows within the LOS

Technology Integration & Optimization:

- Assist in identifying opportunities to integrate new technologies and solutions into our mortgage operations

- Work closely with vendors and internal teams to implement integrations, conduct testing, and ensure seamless function across all systems.

Compliance and Regulatory Oversight:

- In conjunction with CLM’s Compliance Manager, stay abreast of regulatory changes and compliance requirements within mortgage industry, ensuring technology systems and process align with regulatory standards

- Conduct regular audits and assessments to monitor compliance, identify potential risks, and implement corrective measures as needed

Training & Technical Support:

- Offer mortgage system and general technical support and system setup to end users within the company, resolving issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity in conjunction with CLM’s CIO and Managed Services Provider (MSP).

- Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related problems across various systems and applications to minimize downtime and disruption

- Develop training materials, documentation, and user guides to facilitate the adoption of new technologies and best practices

Continuous Improvement and Innovation:

- Lead initiatives to drive continuous improvement and innovation in mortgage technology, leveraging emerging trends, best practices, and industry benchmarks 

- Proactively identify areas for optimization, efficiency gains, and cost savings within the technology ecosystem

Qualifications

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

- 3-5 years of experience in mortgage industry with hands on experience managing LOS and related applications strongly preferred

- Knowledge of mortgage industry processes and regulations

- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and reporting platforms (e.g. SQL, Tableau, Power BI)

- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and drive initiatives to completion

- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

- Relevant certifications in mortgage technology, project management, or data analytics are a plus

- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi- task and prioritize work

- Must have a valid driver’s license and successfully pass a background check

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or related field required
