We are seeking a professional full-time Medical Assistant for our office. The Medical Assistant is responsible for providing clinical support to the physicians in the office. This is a full-time position that includes a 4-day work week about 32-40 hours a week. There is no set day off, it will rotate based on staffing needs.

Medical Assistant - MA Responsibilities:

• Prepares exam rooms in the clinical area for patient care daily, including stocking all necessary supplies
• Prepare patient charts
• Pull records from crisp
• Escorts patients to exam rooms, taking the required vital signs and obtaining urine specimens
• Assists physician with paps and minor in-office procedures
• Administer injections
• Adheres to and follows sterilization and disinfection practices throughout the facility
• Adheres to bio-hazardous waste policy and procedure for proper disposal of biomedical waste
• You are expected to travel between the Gambrills and Annapolis locations
• Coordinating laboratory services, and ordering labs, imaging and pathology reports
• Preform Affirm testing
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager

Must have a MA certification.
