About Us:

Chesapeake Treatment Center, a 29-bed residential treatment center for adolescent males located in Parkville, MD (near Towson) has an IMMEDIATE opening for an Activities Coordinator.

Schedule:

Days: Sunday- Thursday

Responsibilities:

The Coordinator will assess, plan, implement and evaluate music/art activity programs that meet the functional needs of our patients and support their treatment goals.

Coordinate and participate in patient activities designed to promote social interaction, reality orientation and intellectual stimulation.

Develop and circulate monthly calendar of planned activities.

Minimum Requirements:

Associates Degree or higher in recreation, occupational therapy or a related area

1-2 years of related experience

Preferred Requirements:

Bachelor's degree

Successful experience facilitating activities in a structured recreational program

Experience in a psychiatric treatment program

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
