The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) assists in collecting patient information, planning, and implementing patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse. The position is accountable for all delegated patient care based on established standards of nursing practice and hospital policies and procedures. The LPN only performs those procedures and processes that are within the scope of practice for an LPN.

Education and Experience
Minimum Required Education: Successful completion of an accredited LPN program.
Preferred Education: Associate's degree
Experience: One (1) or more years' previous acute care / hospital based experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Applicant must be licensed to work as a LPN in the Commonwealth of Virginia, and must hold a current BLS certification.
