Cherry Cricket is Hiring a Supervisor (Front of House) - The Cherry Cricket Ballpark Near Denver, CO

No one really knows where the name Cherry Cricket came from, and we like it that way. In our original location at the modest brick and mortar building on 2nd Ave, we've been slinging burgers, brews and good times since 1945. In April 2018 we opened our second location in the Ballpark neighborhood at 22nd and Blake!

For more than 70 years now, we've continued to fill bellies with the city's favorite burgers paired with Colorado made beers. The memories made at the Cricket are just as important as the amazing food we serve. The Cricket is a place where a delicious burger, a cold beer, and good friends will always be waiting.

We are now hiring experienced Supervisor to lead our amazing front of house team!

This position will 2-3 Supervisor shifts per week with additional shifts as Server or Bartender. It's ideal for someone looking to grow their management career with us as we plan to open additional Cherry Cricket restaurants.

The Front of House (FOH) Restaurant Supervisor leads all aspects of our business. This position delivers a high-quality menu and motivates our staff to provide excellent customer service. Reporting to the General Manager, the Restaurant Supervisor responsibilities include maintaining the restaurant’s revenue, profitability and quality goals. You will ensure efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards. We’ll expect you to lead by example and uplift our staff during busy moments in our fast-paced environment. Ultimately, you will ensure our restaurant runs smoothly and customers have fantastic dining experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations
  • Deliver superior service and maximize guest satisfaction
  • Respond efficiently and accurately to guest feedback
  • Organize and supervise shifts, manage the restaurants overall operations, and suggest ways to improve it
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
  • Control operational costs and identify measures to reduce waste
  • Estimate future needs for goods, supplies, and cleaning products
  • Train new and current employees
  • Implement and enforce policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations
  • Other duties as assigned by management
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a Restaurant Manager or Supervisor in a high volume, full-service restaurant
  • Extensive food and beverage knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and staff
  • Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
  • Acute financial management skills
  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Remain available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays

Benefits are offered to full-time employees (averaging 30 hours per week) after a waiting period. Our current benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, telehealth, accident, paid time off, and 401K!
