PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
The employee frequently is required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move more than 100 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Picks up clients as assigned and assists passengers to enter and leave vehicle. Performs miscellaneous errands such as picking up prescriptions and scheduling appointments.
Keeps car and equipment clean, polished, and in operating condition. Makes minor repairs or adjustments such as fixing punctures, cleaning spark plugs, or adjusting carburetor.
Makes recommendations for clients who need health education classes. Maintains adequate first aid supplies. Composes and submits reports as required.
Other duties may be assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES No supervisory responsibilities are required.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT High school education; or general education degree (GED). EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT No additional experience is required.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee nation underwriting rating.
