Qualified Candidates MUST meet the following requirements on or before the last date for filing an application for this examination:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma EITHER:
(A) Possession of an Associate’s Degree in Secretarial Science, Office Technology, Paralegal Studies, or a closely related field and one year of full-time paid clerical experience or its’ part-time equivalent which must have included customer service; OR
(B) Three years of full-time paid clerical experience or its’ part-time equivalent, one year of which must have included customer service; OR
(C) An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (A) and (B) above.

Note: Your degree must have been awarded by a college or university accredited by a regional, national, or specialized agency recognized as an accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of Education/U.S. Secretary of Education. If your degree was awarded by an educational institution outside the United States and its territories, you must provide independent verification of equivalency. Special Requirement: The appointing authority may require at least one incumbent in this position to obtain a Notary Public License following permanent appointment, and maintain such licensure throughout employment.
