Inside Sales Representative

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing accounts through reactive and proactive telephone contact and email to maintain and grow sales as well as provide technical support to customers. You will report to the Director of Sales and be part of the Sales Team. This role is based in Beacon, New York.

A day in the life of an Inside Sales Representative can look like:

• Creating an enjoyable customer experience through proactive communication and support processes.
• Managing customer accounts by ensuring accuracy of transactions, providing product information, making recommendations and communicating updates regarding orders.
• Working with internal departments to provide up to date order details, product information and technical support.
• Accurately quote material and convert quotes to orders.
• Utilize telephone sales and support skills to create interest and offer value-added products and services to customers.
• Build and expand customer relationships and help ensure continued business.
• Handle returns, credits and complaints as needed.

We are looking for you to have (choose what is applicable)

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years previous business to business customer service experience
• Excellent Communication Skills (Spanish Bilingual a plus)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), CRM (Salesforce), ERP Systems (Microsoft D365) and order management.
• Experience in manufacturing environment desirable

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
