The Chelsea at Montville

Chelsea at Montville is an assisted living/memory care facility where we provide a comfortable, safe and secure home for those who need help with the activities of daily living, in a caring atmosphere of respect and dignity

Hours to start are every other Sunday from 2 pm to 8 pm.

Ideal candidate would also be available to cover weekdays (8am – 4pm), evenings (4pm – 8pm) and additional weekend shifts (8am – 2pm) when needed.

Overview: Greets residents, residents’ families and general public in a gracious and welcoming manner. Interfaces with all departments to facilitate communication. Assists with office work including distribution of mail, updating of menus, and new employee paperwork when necessary.

i Answers telephone in a courteous and confident manner. Always maintains an assertively friendly positive attitude.

i Greets residents, residents’ families and general public in a gracious and welcoming manner.

i Maintains log of all visitors/guests to the residents.

i Prepares meal requests for residents. Manages meal orders for employees.

i Notifies appropriate staff when there is a person or person waiting in the lobby to meet with members of the staff.

i Communicates with all departments through the use of the telephone, walkie-talkies.

i Informs nursing when a resident in the lobby area requires attention. Redirects confused residents from the front or side entrance.

i Notifies the Health Services Director or designee, when an emergency call request registers on the emergency call computer station.

· Notifies the Executive Director or designee and the Building Services Director or designee, if a fire emergency is reported; follows established procedures to notify staff of the emergency.

i Sorts and distributes business mail to appropriate parties.

i Computer skills a plus – data entry.

i Respects residents’ confidentiality at all times.

All shifts and job responsibilities may be subject to flexible schedules including the rotational coverage of weekends, holidays and emergencies when the resident care needs dictate staff schedules and duties.

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
