Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Social Media Coordinator located in Plano, TX. The Social Media Coordinator will create and distribute social media content, manage social media campaigns, communicate with customers, and write promotional content. The Social Media Coordinator will also be responsible for conducting digital marketing activities, responding to inquiries on social media, and developing social media strategies.
As a Social Media Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating captivating and child-friendly content for our social media platforms. Your primary duties will include:
- Develop creative and engaging visual and written content that aligns with Cheeky Monkeys' brand identity and values.
- Generate content ideas for regular posts, stories, and promotions.
- Schedule and publish posts across various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn.).
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions on social media channels.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with influencers, brand advocates, and partners to amplify reach and engagement on social media channels.
- Foster a sense of community by interacting with our audience and encouraging user-generated content.
- Manage and curate photo and video-based content from different locations across DFW.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Social Media Marketing, Management, and Digital Marketing skills.
- Excellent Communication and Writing skills.
- Proficiency in graphic design and video editing software, such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva, to create engaging content.
- Experience with email marketing platforms, particularly Mailchimp, is essential
- Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro is a plus.
- A creative mindset with an understanding of current social media trends.
- Availability to work full-time
- Availability to work on weekends
- Must have reliable transportation to commute to and from work locations as needed.
