Checkr, Inc. seeks Software Engineer in San Francisco, CA:
Job Duties: Develop software features for background check production system. Write
automated tests for software enhancements and perform on call duties, such as responding to
production incidents, bugs, and technical questions. Develop machine learning models for
charge classification. Document operational flows related to code enhancements completed.
Create documentation on architecture of the production system. Generate custom accuracy
metrics for machine learning models to evaluate readiness for production deployment. Debug
traces and logs in Datadog Application Performance Monitoring to quickly identify system errors.
Write SQL queries in addition to ruby and python application code. Telecommuting is an option.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science,
Computational Linguistics, or closely related quantitative discipline.
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Knowledge and experience in any of the following programming
languages: Python, Ruby; (2) Machine Learning Model development; (3) Technical Document
and diagram drafting; (4) databases; (5) monitoring/logging tools; (6) Testing and debugging
skills. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable.
Telecommuting is an option.
Salary: $147,368.00 - $155,800.00 per annum.
