Job Description
We are seeking a self motivated Assistant Warehouse Manager to work with the Warehouse Manager to provide leadership in all aspects of the logistical operations of the company. Great opportunity to learn all sides of warehouse operations with awesome potential to grow within the company.
Core Duties and Oversight Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments by performing unit counts and verifying it against the receiving documents.
- Maintain inventory and perform monthly and routine counts to ensure accuracy of the inventory.
- Prepare outgoing shipments according to the specific guidelines required by the customers
- Management of timely outbound shipments including our drop shop services to major marketplaces
Skills Needed:
- Comfortable with technology as many of the tasks involve web site portals, email and Excel spreadsheets
- Ability to learn, adapt and have a positive attitude towards changing environments.
- Physical requirements: Must be comfortable being on your feet for extended periods of time and working along co-workers to accomplish daily goals.
- Abilities to operate fork lifts
- Knowledge of Shipstation - our platform for our drop ship operations a plus
