Chavez Buick GMC is hiring an Automotive Cashier immediately. This position is responsible for answering a multi-line phone system and responding to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner. All candidates must have a professional appearance and excellent communication skills. General knowledge of office programs will also help you succeed in as a Chavez Buick GMC Employee

Responsibilities and Duties

• Receive cash, checks, and credit card payments from service and parts guests and records the amounts received.
• Records monies received on daily settlement sheets and verify against cash on hand.
• Verifies accuracy of the guest's bill using the dealerships computer system and closing paid tickets.
• Maintains accurate vehicle inventory.
• Filing daily
• Switchboard operating
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
• Professional appearance a must.
• Must have customer service orientation, be enthusiastic, and dependable.

Qualifications and Skills

• Prior automotive experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Outgoing and professional demeanor
• Self-motivated and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Current, valid driver’s license
