Summary:

• Department: Surgery
• Shift Timings: 06:45-17:15 Hours, Monday to Friday (4 Days/10 Hours per Week)
• Weekly Hours: 40 Hours
• Specialization: Cardiac OR
• Experience Requirement: Proficiency in open heart bypass cases (Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery, Valve repairs/replacements, Aortic Dissections - heart transplant preferred)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Prepare sterile operating rooms for surgeries.
• Sterilize equipment and instruments.
• Stock adequate supplies for surgery.
• Prepare patients for surgery by washing and disinfecting incision sites.
• Provide support during surgery by passing instruments and other supplies.
• Track surgical supplies.
• Stay up-to-date on surgical technology, medical terminology, and procedures.
• Work well with surgeons, surgical assistants, nurses, and the general surgical team.
• Help provide excellent patient care.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience.
• Experience with Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery, Valve repairs/replacements, Aortic Dissections - heart transplant.

Required Skills:

• Certified Surgical Technician (CST)
