Chartway Federal Credit Union is Hiring a Digital Media Specialist Near Salt Lake, UT

Job Title: Digital Media Specialist
Job Type: Full-time

The Digital Media Specialist is responsible for maintaining a strong Chartway presence across digital channels, including Chartway.com, social media, online listings and digital advertising platforms. This position plans, creates, publishes, and shares new content daily to build meaningful member connections, increases brand awareness and encourages community members to engage with the brand.
Responsible and Accountable for:

  • Collaborating with the marketing and communications team to plan, create and maintain the monthly content calendar
  • Working with internal stakeholders to implement social media content that aligns with enterprise initiatives
  • Monitoring online reputation and social media platforms, following online conversations, sharing/liking/tagging relevant content and responding to questions, concerns, and reviews in an engaging, clear, on-brand, and user-friendly manner
  • Staying up to date on the latest social media best practices, technologies and regulations
  • Updating and testing website content, links, and navigation paths. Working with the website vendor on website upgrade projects
  • Supporting the manager by setting up, testing, deploying and reporting on email marketing campaigns
  • Gathering and analyzing website traffic, online behaviors, sources, funnels and conversion rates
  • Helping plan, implement and report on marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including social, website, online banking platform, email, and others
  • Monitoring digital marketing trends, industry news, and competitors
  • Working on related digital marketing programs, as needed
  • Processing marketing invoices on related projects and maintaining records of marketing spend within the marketing budget

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience with social media marketing
  • Exceptional communication skills both verbally and in writing
  • Understanding of online reputation monitoring software
  • Familiarity with web design and content management systems
  • Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task effectively
  • Collaborative problem solver
  • Deadline driven team player with ability to prioritize
  • Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software and applications
  • Understanding of Google Analytics and/or other marketing data analytics tools

Education and Experience:

  • Digital Media, Social Media, Marketing, or a relevant field
  • Experience: 3 years progressively more responsible job-related digital marketing experience
  • Knowledge of financial services, a plus
