Overview

Position Overview:

Charleys is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Digital Full Stack with expertise in e-commerce to join our Marketing team. As the Senior Manager, Digital Full Stack you play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our suite of e-commerce platforms (website, app, kiosk) as well as supporting our ecommerce efforts with 3rd party platforms and affiliates (Olo, DoorDash, Grubhub, Uber Eats, etc.). Your in-depth knowledge of e-commerce principles, 3rd party operations/platforms, and full-stack development will contribute to the success of our online business. You will also manage our social media team efforts ensuring that they are aligned with and optimize the digital ordering experience. This position reports to the VP, Marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate internally with marketing team members, Executive Leadership, and cross-functional groups, to gather all requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Create, manage, and maintain a robust and scalable e-commerce suite of applications across digital platforms, using modern web technologies and frameworks.
  • Design, implement, and optimize front-end systems to ensure a seamless backend flow to deliver a user-friendly digital ordering experience across platforms.
  • Customize and expand digital ordering functionality to meet specific requirements and business goals.
  • Partner with IT to integrate 3rd party APIs and payment solutions to enhance e-commerce functionality across platforms.
  • Design, code, test/identify, and fix bugs across platforms, to ensure high-quality code standards are maintained at all times.
  • Leverage data analytics to optimize website performance (SEO, SEM, etc.) and responsiveness for improved user experience across all platforms.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and emerging technologies related to e-commerce, 3rd party practices, and social media.
  • Oversee social media team and all associated activities, ensuring appropriate content planning, application of best practices, alignment with Charleys Brand Standards & Guidelines, and digital traffic driving efforts.
  • Collaborate with the cross-functional team to continuously improve development processes, workflows, and content output.
  • Drive innovation across the team using a deep understanding of how digital solutions boost Charleys marketing strategy, with an emphasis on omnichannel digital sales and seamless experiences across platforms.
  • Drive projects and tasks through to completion through collaboration, regardless of changing conditions, by proactively identifying potential roadblocks and working with peers, agencies, and partners.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven track record with a digital full stack (development or management of), with at least 5 years of experience in e-commerce development across websites, digital apps, kiosk-based platforms, and social media.
  • Solid understanding of UX/UI design to create user-friendly and visually appealing digital experiences.
  • Prior experience working with 3rd party affiliates, specifically DoorDash, Grubhub, and Uber Eats.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks.
  • Understanding of backend technologies is a nice to have.
  • Expertise with online ordering systems, including custom theme development, app integrations, and API utilization.
  • Solid understanding of content management systems (e.g., Wordpress) and experience with data modeling.
  • Strong understanding digital analytics, SEO principles, algorithms, and ranking factors as it relates to ecommerce.
  • Experience managing teams and social media activities; proven success growing follower base and engagement.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and deployment techniques is a nice to have.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and debug complex issues.
  • Strong communication, project management, and collaboration skills, with the ability to drive results independently and as a team.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, passionate about staying updated on the latest trends and technologies in e-commerce and 3rd party apps.
  • Demonstrated leadership; visionary, clarity of purpose, motivation, detail-orientation, and relentless execution.
