RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. To liaise and building relationships. Externally, this could be with customers and suppliers. Internally this could mean different related and supporting departments.
2. To contribute to the strategic planning of an annual or long term marketing plan to drive forward agreed company objectives.
3. To budget manage and identify advertising opportunities
4. To building and maintaining contacts.
5. To write and distributing press releases
6. To manage the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters and flyers. This can involve writing and proofreading copy, and liaising with designers and printers;
7. To arrange for the effective distribution of marketing materials
8. To maintain, build and update mailing databases
9. To organize and attend events and exhibitions
10. To carry out market research and customer surveys to assess demand, brand positioning and awareness
11. To evaluate marketing campaigns
12. To monitor competitor activity

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

1. Approximately 4-6 years of sales experience in the marketing industry.
2. Experience with a company in a related company sector.
3. Extensive experience of developing, maintaining and delivering on marketing strategies to meet company objectives.
4. A strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
5. If applicable, a willingness to travel.
