The Veterinary Surgical Nurse / Technician will be Responsible for:

• Preparing exam rooms, treatment and surgical suite for appointments and procedures
• Capturing patient histories
• Managing sick and well visit appointments
• Drawing blood
• Placing IV catheters
• Monitoring anesthesia
• Taking appropriate action in urgent surgical situations
• Completing medical documentation
• Completing in-house and reference laboratory diagnostics
• Following clinic medical protocols
• Maintaining medical equipment and supplies
• Exceptional client service and education
• Making appropriate medical recommendations

Qualified Applicants will Require:

• 1 years experience working in a small animal veterinary clinic performing the duties associated with this position.
• Must provide cover letter detailing your interest in our specific clinic
• Continued excitement for your career in veterinary medicine, track record of reliability attending shifts, great personality, team-player, self-starter, able to work at a fast pace and can meet the physical demands of the role.

Preferred consideration given for:

• Expertise in small animal surgical preparation, monitoring, recovery and discharge
• Up to date Veterinary Technician License for the State of South Carolina
