Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Provide hands-on development and mentoring as necessary for all members of the team to ensure team and project success. Interface with product owners and key stakeholders in Project Management, Business, QA and Technology Operations to ensure high quality delivery of software projects on time and budget. Identify technology risks and dependencies early to establish mitigation plans. Create artifacts for each project such as software architecture documentation, technical use cases, and code review packages. Meet periodically with onshore and offshore developers to review and improve code quality, requirements specification and design methodologies. Support integration efforts to build whole systems from various subsystems. Build and utilize automated software test tools and frameworks such as test-driven development to achieve software quality standards. Support release manager to assemble releases and drive improvements in the release process. Position allows for partial remote work. Must live within reasonable commuting distance. Reports to company office in Austin, TX.

Starting compensation for this location depends on related experience. Annual bonus opportunity and other eligible earnings are not included in the range(s) above. We offer a competitive benefits package, see below for details.

Salary: $141,800 - $160,800

What you have

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field, plus 4 years of related experience.

Experience must include some experience in each of the following skills: C# or .Net. for Development of Web and Windows user interface and Server Applications; REST API Development and Deployment of Rest Endpoints; Object Oriented Design for Design and Architecture patterns for enterprise applications; Agile SDLC methodologies;Microservice and cloud architecture to achieve scalability, maintainability, and fault tolerance; and Angular and JavaScript to develop web application interfaces supporting multiple browsers and devices.
