Tax Reviewer/Preparer Job Description:

Organize, prepare and review Individual, Business, Non-Profit, and Trust tax returns and file all federal, state, and local income tax documents.
Respond to tax and accounting-related issues.
Assess all business transactions and prepare accurate reports on your findings.
Ensure you remain up to date on industry changes and changes in regulations.
Maintain and organize digital and physical financial records.
Coordinate with employees on income tax research and planning.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years’ proven experience as a public accountant.
CPA not required but appreciated.
Outstanding tax knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations.
Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
Solid understanding of accounting software and MS Office.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each assignment as
necessary.
Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization,
both internally and externally.
Experience with Lacerte tax program, paperless office, and QuickBooks Online & Desktop.
