Full Spectrum Bookkeeper

Responsibilities:

Perform day-to-day processing of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions.

Enter Purchase Orders and Inventory receipts and work in process transactions.

Process and submit payroll to 3rd party payroll service and benefits tracking and submissions.

Maintain records of financial transactions by establishing accounts, balancing, and posting transactions.

Maintain historical records by filing documents and record keeping tasks.

Comply with federal, state and local legal requirements by studying requirements and changes, enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions.

Process monthly and yearly system closes (and reconciliations).

Create spreadsheets to analyze and track data.

Provide support for switchboard, invoicing, and interfacing with customers.

Provide documents and information to accountant for fiscal year end.

Maintain computer system backups and operations.

Bookkeeper Qualifications / Skills:

• Proven Broad Bookkeeping / Accounting Experience / Attention to Detail
• Understands the Interface of A/R with Invoicing, Purchasing and Receipts with

A/P, and all to the General Ledger including balancing/reconciling

• Ability to Work Independently and with Others
• Prepare and file Sales Tax, CAT Tax, IFTA, IRP, Heavy Highway Tax Returns, etc.
• Ability to Solve Problems / Juggle Many Tasks / Prioritize
• Accuracy and Attention to Detail
• Data Entry Skills
• Well Organized
• Confidentiality
• Excel Experience Basic PC Knowledge Helpful

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
