Sign on incentive $2000Food service employees hired by Sept of the school year will be paid a total of $2000 sign on incentive, $500 in their final September paycheck, $500 in the first pay in January, and a final installment of $1000 for completing the school year.
Food service employees hired by November 30th of the school year will be paid a total of $2000 sign on incentive, paycheck, $500 in the first pay in December, and a final installment of $1000 for completing the school year. Employees in this category will be paid an additional $500in the final September pay the next school year.
Food service employees hired after January 1st of the school year will be paid a total of $2000 sign on incentive, a installment of $1000 for completing the school year. Employees in this category will be paid an additional $500 in the final September pay the next school year and $500 in the first pay of January of the next school year.
Retention Incentive $2000We propose a longevity incentive of $2000, at the completion of 5,10, 15, 20, 25, 30 years of contracted service.
Attendance incentive $500Attendance will be paid based on 100% attendance; 100% attendance in a complete school year where the employee is present every scheduled work day. Employees may use personal days. Any use of sick time or leave without pay disqualifies this employee from this incentive
Food Service Worker (6-HOUR)Terms of Employment: 10-months
Exemption Status: Non-Exempt Salary: $17,900 - $27,423
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Demonstrated aptitude for successful performance of duties and responsibilities listed below.
- Ability to work rapidly and efficiently in a wide range of temperature conditions.
- Ability to follow written recipes and oral instruction.
- Knowledge of principles of sanitation and kitchen safety.
- Ability to work effectively with school personnel and students.
- Knowledge of and ability to work with a variety of chemicals and other agents.
- Ability to do heavy work (lift and carry approximately 50 pounds) on hard flooring for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to work while standing for an extended period of time.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS- Food preparation.
- Food handling from preparation to serving.
- Collect money and/or meal tickets.
- Cleaning of equipment, utensils and designated areas.
- Receiving and storage of food supplies.
- Regular on time attendance.
- Performs related duties as assigned by the manager.
ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThe environmental factors and/or physical requirements of this position include the following: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard. The employee frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.
