Job Summary:
Charis Home Care is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our team in Scottsdale, Arizona. As a Caregiver, you will provide personal care and support to individuals in their homes, helping them to maintain their independence and quality of life. This is a full-time, hourly position and will require a commitment to providing exceptional care to our clients. This is an individual contributor role, where you will be responsible for your own assigned clients.
Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation for this position is $16 to $18 per hour. This includes competitive pay and benefits such as paid time off, and opportunities for career advancement within our company. Our Caregivers also receive ongoing training and support to ensure they have the necessary skills to provide the best care possible.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist with meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping tasks
- Accompany clients to appointments or activities as needed
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' physical or mental health to the supervisor
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of care provided
- Follow all care plans and protocols set by the supervisor
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for clients at all times
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous caregiving experience preferred
- Compassionate and patient with a strong desire to help others
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
