Our Dental Assistants are passionate about providing exceptional dental care and treatment for patients. They engage patients in reception, escort them to operatory using red carpet method and are responsible for performing a variety of activities at the top of their scope.

Dental Assistant Activities Include:

  • Being a valued member of the dental team, participate in team huddles to review scheduling and daily operational needs
  • Dental Assistants take an active role in preparing patients and operatory for treatment with pride to perform exceptional dentistry for endodontics, oral surgery, pedodontics, prosthodontics and restorative procedures
  • Connecting with patients, make them feel comfortable and welcomed
  • Taking impressions and completing laboratory duties such as pouring up, trimming models, and the making of bleach trays/night guards.
  • Capturing digital x-rays with all landmarks present and document missing teeth or dental prosthesis
  • Documenting exam findings and dental care services
  • Collaborating with Dentists, Hygienists, Sterilization technicians and other Chapa-De team members to perform these and other functions pertaining to dentistry procedures
Required Experience:


DA Qualifications:

  • Graduate from High School.
  • Formal training as a dental assistant OR 6 months experience in chairside assisting in the practice of Dentistry
  • X-Ray License
  • Current CPR or BLS

RDA Qualifications:

  • Current RDA license.
  • Graduate from High School.
  • Current CPR certificate.
  • One year experience as chair side assistant, working with digital x-ray software/sensors and using computer based applications in a professional manner.
  • Additional licenses and/or certificates in dental, orthodontics or medical is a plus

** Must have received or be willing to receive the COVID - 19 vaccine before date of hire to be considered for employment. This includes the booster shot, when eligible.
