QUALITY CONTROL SPECIALIST - COLON / PANAMA

Location : Primary in Colon and partially in Panama City

Reports to : Operations Manager

Contract : Full-time and permanent contract position

YOUR ROLE @CHANEL

In this role you will support all the Distribution Center’s administrative task related to product quality and safety, all in compliance with our operating methods and our quality, safety, security, and environment policies.

WHAT IMPACT YOU CAN CREATE AT CHANEL

• Guarantee the quality management system at CUPFSA.
• Manage the site's documentary system.
• Lead training and awareness raising for internal teams.
• Ensure the skills development plan on quality subjects, create, and deliver training quality.
• Manage the internal and external audit process for the center and logistics providers.
• Ensure the updating, analysis, and communication of quality KPIs.
• Assist the personnel in the management and operational monitoring of inspections.
• Lead the Company’s continuous quality improvement process.
• Manage change management for Quality Matters
• Participate in and lead Quality / Stock improvement and optimization projects.
• Management of access rights to information systems
• Build the quality management review (Knowledge on ISO 9001 is a plus)
• Maintain constant communication with Global quality teams for updates in issues and policies.
• Monitor and evaluate the quality conditions on the warehouse.
• Ensuring compliance with current regulations.
• Communication of quality issues.
• Any task that benefits the quality of the product regarding the inbound or outbound shipping of the warehouse

YOU ARE ENERGIZED BY

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

• Bachelor’s Degree on Engineering, logistics, quality or related.
• 3 years of proven experience in quality and / or logistics, managing large SKU numbers and preferable in a multinational context.
• Fluent both in Spanish and English.
• Strong Microsoft Excel level skills (Management of activities using reporting tools)
• Mastery of the quality system (documentary system, qualification / validation, change control)
• Knowledge of all logistics flows
• Computer skills (Office Software and local ERP)
• Implement interpersonal skills such as adaptability and flexibility, analysis and synthesis, oral and written communication, leadership and spirit entrepreneurship, collaboration and interpersonal skills, project management, creativity and innovation, orientation to customers, performance management.
