Supporting the Staff

• Maintains business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies and notifying a supervisor of report of findings or writing on board.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Maintains operations by following policies and procedures, reporting needed changes.
• Ensures daily tasks are assigned and being executed
• Confirmation calls, insurance verifications, cleaning rooms, cleaning floors, cleaning walls, cleaning exterior, laundry

Supporting the Patients

• Serves patients by greeting and helping them, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records and accounts.
• Optimizes patients’ satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone.
• Comforts patients by anticipating patients’ anxieties, answering patients’ questions, and maintaining the reception area.
• Obtains revenue by recording and updating financial information, recording and collecting patient charges, controlling credit extended to patients.
• Protects patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information.

Supporting the Doctors

• Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying providers of patient’s arrival, reviewing service delivery compared to schedule, and reminding providers of service delays.
• Communicate any concerns that a patient has addressed to you to their doctor.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
