POSITION PURPOSE

Repair parts / components that are non-conforming to customer specification by welding, grinding, or other methods as required.

RESPONSIBLITIES AND RESULTS

• Performs all duties to ensure department and plant meet daily and weekly production requirements.
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols while servicing or maintaining equipment
• Repair parts / components Mig welds
• Tag Parts
• Move parts to correct location in the plant / facility
• Participate in preventative actions where appropriate
• Utilization of Plex
• Conduct housekeeping for personal work area or shared facility space
• Maintain welding equipment

REQUIREMENTS :

• Must be able to understand and follow written and verbal workplace instructions.
• Frequent exposure to noise, fumes, dirt, heat, sparks, and smoke
• Frequently bends, twists, turns, and lifts while performing functions of position
• Working with / around moderately-sized equipment within a work area
• Requires high school graduate or equivalent
• Requires 3-5 years in relevant work experience
• Must be able to pass and maintain necessary Mig welding certification
• Reliable regarding attendance and performance
• Adhere to safety rules of the plant including PPE requirements
