Suncoast Credit Union is Hiring a Call Center Training Instructional Designer Near Tampa, FL

Overview:

Compensation: $59,000 - $85,000 based on experience and credentials

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (flexible hybrid)

The Call Center Instructional Designer creates instructional material for eLearning, video, and live training sessions to meet organizational requirements. This individual regularly collaborates with facilitators, learners, and subject matter experts to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs. Key responsibilities include maintaining the learning management system and its content for accuracy and relevance. An ideal candidate has experience with technical writing, project design, and adult learning.

Responsibilities:
  • Establish style guidelines and standards for internal and external presentations, eLearning modules, online coursework, learning curriculum, webinar platforms, simulated training, and illustrations to meet business needs
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of learning programs for facilitator use
  • Evaluate the learning programs and provide feedback to ensure they remain relevant
  • Collaborate with facilitators to determine new curriculum ideas
  • Utilize various systems to capture and report data for the department
  • Identify trends, gaps, and other data points to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of training material
  • Research learning theories, evaluation methods, and learning styles to provide differentiated instruction tools
  • Produce blended learning content such as eLearning modules, remote learning webinars, printed resources, and live facilitations material
  • Participate in the needs-assessment, design thinking, and development of role-specific curriculum
  • Create material with an emphasis on the audience interaction, visual and technical aspects
  • Design effective deliverables such as self-paced, interactive eLearning, eManuals, simulations, video, webinars, print, web-based training, and classroom facilitation
  • Administer learning management systems (LMS) and content management systems (CMS) to efficiently communicate information
  • Organize curriculum in a concise and understandable display
  • Attend educational events to l increase professional knowledge
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in education, human resources, or a related field (A comparable combination of work experience and training may be substituted for education requirements)
  • 3 years of experience developing, delivering, and facilitating training materials and programs
  • Experience with a financial institution preferred
  • Experience with various educational platforms and tools, such as learning management platforms (CMS, LMS)
  • Experience utilizing distance learning training tools, computer-based authoring tools, and technology to increase learning
  • Ability to design websites, web-based training programs, and online programs
  • Project management experience preferred
  • Ability to prioritize tasks by effectively managing competing and changing priorities to meet deadlines
  • Accurate, detail-oriented, and organized with task management
  • Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to interact with members, staff, vendors, and government regulators
  • Ability to analyze and resolve routine problems and situations
  • Periodic fieldwork within the call center is required
