cFocus Software is seeking a Database Engineer to support our Cross Domain Solutions program in Washington, DC. This position requires an active Top Secret with SCI Eligibility.Required Qualifications:
Active Top Secret with SCI Eligibility.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
4-6 years hands-on experience in Configuration Management and DBA
5 years of experience working with Special Access Programs (SAPs)
Strong ServiceNow experience
Experience with AWS or Azure
Strong communication and interaction skills with onsite clients.
Must be able to report onsite as indicated above
Develops the data management software solution on government-owned networks
Documents the software functionality
Imports existing data from previous collection efforts
When malfunctions occur, restores functionality of the data management solution within the same or next working day
Makes modifications to increase capabilities and/or friendliness, change/add interfaces and functions, and updates formats to match requirements
Maintains the data management solution in working order and ensure compatibility with networks upgrades
Provides assistance and training to contractor, military or government civilian staff
Create, maintain, or modify interfaces/software to support collection activities and data management needs on a real-time basis
Assists with tracking and reporting status of project milestones and action items and provides details of pending action items and milestones and any potential delays/issues to functional representatives and leadership
Assists with uploading reports to the main system or other data management repositories
Works with government and contractor personnel to accomplish government requirements, goals, and mission objectives
