The Position:

We are seeking a full-time Clinical Therapist for our Full-Service Partnership (FSP) Program, at our Balboa site in Northridge, to provide Intensive in-home/community-based services to high risk youth and their families. What You’ll Do

  • Conducts intakes, provides individual, group and family therapy services in office and community and school based settings. Service includes initial clinical assessments, diagnosis, clinical treatment planning and implementation, referral and termination.
  • Provides mental health services in the home, school and/or other community based settings as needed.
  • Engages primary caregiver and other family members in active change-oriented treatment by identifying and overcoming barriers to engagement.
  • Will participate in clinical on call rotation to provide FSP cases with 24/7 crisis response which will include one weekend a month.
  • Collaborates and consults with school personnel, DMH, DCFS, DPS and any other service agencies as needed.
  • Maintains clinical charts and completes program and DMH paperwork.
  • The first four months of this position is fully onsite. Hybrid work options are available afterward.
  • Fulltime – 40 hours per week. Work schedule is based on the needs of the center and caseload.

Starting Salary:

  • A.M.F.T., A.C.S.W., and A.P.C.C. $68,500
  • L.M.F.T., L.C.S.W., and L.P.C.C. $70,500 - $75,500
  • Waivered Psychologist: $76,500
  • Licensed Psychologist: $78,500 - $84,500
  • Additional years of experience will be considered as well
  • $3,000 differential available for bilingual Spanish-English proficiency (must pass Spanish Proficiency Assessment to qualify)
  • *Eligible for $2,500.00 sign-on bonus* ($1,250 to be paid on first pay period and $1,250 to be paid after one year of employment)

Qualifications

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents with intensive needs.
  • Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based child and family interventions relevant to families served in the community mental health settings.
  • Ability to develop reasonable, appropriate treatment plans and clinical programs to meet the needs of the clients.
  • Ph.D., Psy.D., MSW, or MA/MS with an emphasis on marriage and family therapy. Must be eligible to register with the Board of Psychology or Board of Behavioral Sciences.
