centuryambulance is Hiring a Scheduling Coordinator Near Jacksonville, FL

Job Summary: 

The Scheduling Coordinator helps to ensure that company’s objectives are met by effectively scheduling field employees. The ideal candidate must be able to multitask and provide quick responses to scheduling problems. The Scheduling Coordinator must know how to shift resources and ensure that the company is meeting all staffing requirements and commitments. This position requires excellent organizational and communication skills.

What you’ll do as a Scheduling Coordinator:

  • • Responsible for the day to day staffing and scheduling of field employees
  • • Process schedule changes including but not limited to: filling open shifts, reviewing PTO requests, reviewing swap shift requests, reviewing shift give a way requests and submitting status change requests
  • • Work with field management to replace call outs and same day schedule changes
  • • Contact employees via text message, email and phone calls to inform them of schedule changes
  • • Work with a sense of urgency and under tight deadlines
  • • Maintain data integrity in the scheduling system
  • • Partner with various departments, such as human resources and payroll; maintain confidentiality
  • • Completes reports as needed
  • • Perform other duties as assigned

What it takes to be successful in this role:

  • • High school diploma or equivalent
  • • Two years of experience in a fast-paced office or related area
  • • Intermediate experience level working with Microsoft Office
  • • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
  • • Excellent computer skills with the ability to learn scheduling software quickly
  • • Excellent problem-solving skills while working with tight deadlines
  • • Maintain a positive Company image to all employees and a calm and professional demeanor
  • • Work collaboratively with multiple departments with positive enthusiasm
  • • Must have high attention to detail and be exceptionally organized

Preferred Qualifications:

  • • Experience in scheduling field employees
  • • Experience with ePro Scheduler or other scheduling software(s)

Mental & Physical Requirements

  • • Must be available to work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, including but not limited to weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
  • • Ability to sit for an extended period and wear a telephone headset
  • • Requires frequent repetitive hand movements and prolonged sitting, standing, walking, reaching and grasping
  • • Must be able to hear and communicate clearly to perform job duties in person and over the phone
  • • Adequate vision required to be able to read information from printed sources and computer screens
  • • Occasional pushing, pulling or moving/lifting up to 50 pounds of heavy supplies and equipment
  • • Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
  • • Collect, interpret, and/or analyze complex data and information
  • • Understand and respond to a diverse population
  • • Utilize fine motor coordination, clear speech, and good visual acuity
