**Description**

****Summary****

Responsible for generating new installation projects for alarm systems through electrical contractors and end users. In addition to installation sales, you will be responsible for securing the monitoring/service contract following the installation.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities** include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

* Identify, develop, and maintain quality clients within the Fire Alarm market that align with the growth strategy of the business.

* Develop, implement, and maintain market-specific business plans for growth.

* Service existing accounts to maximize service and account retention while cross-selling across multiple product offerings.

* Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.

* Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.

* Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.

* Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.

* Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.

* Maintain oversight and responsibility for all projects within in the portfolio.

**Supervisory Responsibilities**

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

**Education and/or Experience**

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior fire alarm or low voltage sales experience is required.

**Computer Skills**

Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HRIS Systems (prefer Paycom).
