Century Care Management is Hiring a Director of Admissions Near Cary, NC

Century Care Management is a leader in rehabilitative and long-term healthcare. We provide residents with a full range of long-term care and rehabilitation services, along with a variety of engaging social and recreational activities. We currently have opportunity for an energetic and dynamic Director of Admissions at one of our facilities in North Carolina.

Director of Admissions 

We are seeking an energetic and self-motivated professional to become our Director of Admissions. This position will be responsible for promoting us to hospitals, physicians and prospective residents. Duties include educating people regarding the capabilities of our facility, visiting discharge planners and physician practices in their offices, hosting community events within the facility, making presentations to civic and community groups and developing presentation and promotional materials in support of these tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in the rehabilitation and long term care industry.
Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience in healthcare as an admissions coordinator, social worker, discharge planner or similar position desired
  • Experience in long term care, especially skilled nursing facilities desired
  • Knowledge of the financial aspects of skilled nursing including Medicare, Medicaid and Private Insurance desired
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office to include Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Personable with neat, professional appearance
  • Must be flexible with hours and be willing to monitor email/voice messages 24/7
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-starter and ability to work independently
  • Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team
  • Valid NC drivers license and reliable transportation
