Specific Responsibilities Would Include

We are actively seeking a dedicated and motivated Associate Retail Planner to contribute to our dynamic team, with a specific focus on department store and e-commerce accounts, including Amazon and drop ship channels. In this role, the emphasis will be on forecasting, inventory management, and sales reporting. The successful candidate will possess a solid analytical foundation, showcasing experience in retail planning and customer relationship management. The Associate Retail Planner will play a pivotal role in optimizing inventory levels and achieving sales targets, necessitating close collaboration with cross-functional teams, direct interaction with retailer planning teams, and proactive engagement with sales teams.

  • Forecasting and Inventory Management:
    • Develop and maintain precise sales forecasts tailored to department store and e-commerce accounts.
    • Analyze sales data and inventory levels, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
    • Build and maintain ladder plans to track and forecast retail sales, receipts, and inventory
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate extensively with sales teams to align forecasting and inventory strategies with overall business objectives.
    • Engage directly with retailer planning and replenishment teams to optimize inventory levels based on sales trends and customer demand.
  • Inventory Monitoring and Optimization:
    • Monitor inventory levels closely and take proactive measures to address potential stockouts or overstocks.
  • Reporting and Presentation:
    • Prepare and present tailored sales reports and forecasts to internal sales team and external retail partners.
    • Must possess ability to clearly communicate data-driven insights to internal and external teams, utilizing data visualization, power point presentations, and retail data
  • Customer Engagement and Relationship Management:
    • Proactively engage with retail partners, understanding their unique business needs and devising strategies to drive sales growth.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with department stores, e-commerce accounts, and other retail partners, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering loyalty.

Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in retail planning, inventory management, or a related field, with a focus on department store and e-commerce channels.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, proficient in Excel or other analytical tools.
    • Experience with Vendor Portals a plus (Macys Partners, KLINK, Retail Link, etc.)
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams, sales teams, and direct interaction with retailer planning teams.
  • Organization: Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects and priorities.
  • Proactive Approach: Ability to work independently and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the retail industry with a specific focus on department stores and e-commerce trends.

Salary Range: $65,000 to $75,000

At Centric Brands, we believe our people are our greatest asset, and we seek to structure competitive compensation offers to ensure that we are able to attract and retain the best talent. Our job postings include an annual base salary range at the time of employment. The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on several factors, including the selected candidate's educational and professional experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other Centric Brands sponsored benefit programs.
